Queensland Solar Bonus Scheme changes

The Queensland Solar Bonus Scheme is changing. From 10 July 2012, the 44 cents per kWh feed-in tariff rate will be replaced with an 8 cents per kWh rate for new customers. To be considered for the higher rate, new applicants must lodge a correctly completed application with their electricity distributor before midnight on 9 July 2012.
QLD Solar Hot Water Rebate program closed

The QLD Solar Hot Water Rebate closed on 22 June 2012. Householders may still be eligible if the system was purchased or had a deposit paid by close of business on 22 June 2012, and is installed no later than 27 July 2012. Correctly completed applications must be received no later than close of business on 28 September 2012

The Renewable Energy Bonus Scheme–Solar Hot Water Rebate (REBS) will close on 30 June 2012. To be eligible for the rebate, systems must be installed, ordered (and a deposit paid) or purchased on or before 28 February 2012. Applications lodged up to 30 June 2012 will continue to be processed, applications received after 30 June 2012, will not be eligible.

Changes to the Victorian Electricity Feed-in Scheme

The Victorian Feed-in Tariff scheme is changing. From 1 October 2011, the 60 cents per kWh feed-in tariff rate will be replaced with a 25 cents per kWh rate for new customers. To be considered for the higher rate, new applicants must complete the application process by 30 September 2011.
